Job purpose

The Quality Manager ensures high-quality standards in the execution of RWE & HEOR projects and non-interventional studies through their responsibilities that interface with internal/external stakeholders and study patients.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for following activities:

• Building and executing processes for validation testing of software features, integrations, and analytics.
• Engaging internal and external stakeholders to validate business requirements.
• Managing adverse event reporting and patient outreach for non-interventional studies.
• Preparing periodic reports as required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies.
• Maintaining high standards for reporting database structure and data element validation.

Qualifications

• Experienced - 3+ years of relevant experience in quality management, healthcare technology, business analytics, research coordination, and/or RWE & HEOR.
• Technical - capable of fully understanding how the technology and/or analytics work to be able to uncover issues. Able to build reports and understand basic SQL.
• Customer-focused - able to communicate professionally with study patients and external stakeholders. Empathetic about the patients’ and the customers’ needs.
• Operational - high-level of professional judgment for communicating escalations, business requirements and status updates.
• Action-oriented - ensures that follow-up owners, timelines, and expectations are clearly set, and then delivered on time.
• Independent - able to plan and problem-solve autonomously, while not being afraid to ask questions when needed. Able to take a task overview without full instructions laid out and turn around a full deliverable.
• Process-focused - able to streamline workflow into efficient, documented policy and procedure.
• Scrappy - enjoys wearing multiple hats and jumping into the various needs that arise in a small company.

Work location and travel requirements

This is a remote position.  Travel may be required for company meetings or for presentations and participation at national association events.
